Our comrades in the Communist Party of Turkey (PCT) are waging a difficult struggle against the dictatorship of the Turkish bourgeoisie led by Erdogan and his party.
They are spared no blow and these are all the more violent as the Turkish Communists have organized themselves to be in better contact with the Turkish workers and the people. That is why activists are regularly attacked. The PCT informed us of recent attacks during the distribution of the weekly newspaper Boyun Eğme, by gangs linked to sects close to the government. We strongly condemn these attacks and we have given our fraternal support to the Turkish comrades. We publish the letter of Tonio Sanchez national secretary of the Revolutionary Party COMMUNISTES to the PCT and the latter's response.

Dear Comrades of the Communist Party of Turkey,
We have received your letter of October 7 concerning the violence developed by religious sects against militants of your party in Istanbul. As you write, the reactionary forces are all the more focused on violence as the arguments and the practice of your party get close to the people and tend to become one with them.
This 100th anniversary of the founding of your party, its deep bond with the working class and the people ensure the effectiveness of your struggle. We are in solidarity with it.
