Bulletin No39 Octobre 2023 Macron, like many state leaders and first and foremost the President of the United States, makes their stay in Israel an act of unfailing support for the colonial policy of the State of Israel, policy which bears full responsibility for the present situation [1] . However, all political leaders know that there cannot be a lasting solution in the region without taking into account the Palestinian dimension. Attempts to reshape the face of the Near and Middle East by including the countries of the region in a system of agreements with Israel, under the leadership of US imperialism and which put the Palestinian question under the carpet have just begun. shattered following the developing war, the violent repression against the Palestinians and the mass demonstrations in Arab countries which carry the demand for recognition of a Palestinian state and the right of return of refugees.
In his statements in Israel, Macron puts forward two ideas. The first, that of an international anti-Hamas front, the other that of the implementation of the two-state solution. This proposal was also at the center of the interventions of the parliamentary groups during the debate on Monday October 23 in the National Assembly.
The first proposal joins the Israeli discourse which claims to want to eradicate Hamas, and takes up the declaration of Lecornu, its Minister of the Armed Forces, who insisted: “ Hamas must be destroyed ”
. It is part of the continuation of the struggles for influence between powers within the imperialist system to weaken the pro-Iranian component, but it takes no account of the Palestinian national reality of Hamas. The already obvious weakening of the Palestine Liberation Organization has left the Palestinian people without the means to cope with continued colonization. The second proposal, that of the two States, is not new [2] . UN resolutions and the Oslo Accords have outlined this direction. Recall that in 1974, a United Nations resolution (Resolution 194) on the “ peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine ” called for “ two States, Israel and Palestine… side by side within secure and recognized borders " , as well as a " just resolution of the refugee question" . The last resolution, in 2013, was adopted by a vote of 165 to 6, with 6 abstentions, with Israel and the United States voting against . According to this resolution, the borders of the State of Palestine would be " based on the pre-1967 borders ", therefore including the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem. Opposed to the creation of a Palestinian state, Israel, with the unfailing financial and military support of the United States, and the complicit complacency of Western states, has done everything to make the slightest possibility of the constitution of a Palestinian state obsolete. The policy of colonization and apartheid, the confinement in the open-air prison that is Gaza, constitute permanent violations of international law and war crimes against the Palestinian people. Where then were France's actions to enforce the law? There was none and in the name of the eternal song about Israel's right to defend itself, Macron and his predecessors in fact endorsed the policy of colonial violence of the State of Israel. Quick to draw sanctions against states deemed rogue or violating international and peoples' law, Western imperialists have never taken the slightest sanction against the colonial state of Israel, on the contrary, they are the ones who fight for sanctions economic and political which are pursued by the courts.
The responsibilities of the United States, of its allies, of France are enormous in the tragedy which is developing in this region, today as yesterday, you will not silence us, we continue the fight for the right of the Palestinian people to a State, for the right of refugees to return and immediately to stop the massacre of innocents
