Bulletin No41 Decembre 2023 The genocide continues
Israel continues its work of genocide with impunity. The situation in the Gaza Strip is increasingly catastrophic, refugees are being bombed in places designated as safe by the Zionist state.  They are affected by famine and disease, the health situation is such that humanitarians no longer know what to do to respond.
CNN reported that "  recently displaced children in the southern Gaza Strip have access to only 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day  ," noting that normally 15 liters would be the minimum quantity required for drinking, washing and cooking, while pure survival requires a minimum of 3 liters.
As for UNICEF, its statement on Wednesday highlights that water and sanitation services in the Gaza Strip have reached a  “critical point” , triggering the alert because children will be most affected.
“  The impact of this situation on children is particularly dramatic because children are also more susceptible to dehydration, dysentery, disease and malnutrition, which, combined, can pose a threat to their survival,  ” she said. warned UNICEF, adding that "  fears of  water-borne diseases  like cholera and chronic dysentery are particularly high given the lack of clean water, especially after this week's rains and floods  ."
No one can say they didn't know!
UNICEF spokesperson James Elder said during a press briefing on December 27: “  I am furious that those in power are turning a blind eye to the humanitarian nightmare that is befalling a million children  ", after having spent two weeks in the Gaza Strip. And, yet, Western states continue to support Netanyahu's fascists or remain silent.
Thus, the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, during a press conference a few days ago, was challenged by a journalist who asked him to comment on the fact "that  large part of the world blames the United States and Israel ” and “ considers this to be a US war .” He responded, without deviating from the official US line: “  I hardly hear anyone saying, demanding that Hamas stop hiding behind civilians, that it lay down its arms, that it surrenders. It would be over tomorrow, if Hamas did this, it would have been over a month ago, six weeks ago, if Hamas had done this. How come there are no demands on the aggressor and only demands on the victim? ". We remember that Gideon Levi, the Haaretz journalist, denounced the fact that Israel was the only occupier in history to present itself as a victim and even the only victim. And Blinken therefore denies the right of the Palestinians to defend themselves against the occupier , as for the fable of human shields, everyone who has been to Gaza, recently or longer ago, knows that it is a lie shameless.
Repression too
Furthermore, repression continues in the West Bank; since October 7, more than 265 Palestinians have been killed, more than 3,430 injured and 4,700 have been arrested by the occupying forces.
Tuesday, December 26, Palestinian MP Khalida Jarrar, one of the figures of the PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine), was arrested in Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, by soldiers of the occupying army who broke into the family home  “by breaking down the door at five in the morning ,” her husband announced.
In a statement, the PFLP said the Israeli army  “carried out a vast campaign of arrests among PFLP leaders and members in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday morning.” The Marxist-Leninist organization said:  “These arrests will not break the will of our people. »  Other  “senior officials”  of the PFLP were also arrested on the same morning of December 26.
On Wednesday, December 20, the United Nations and the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory published reports accusing Israeli forces of carrying out a mass execution of civilians in the northern Gaza Strip. After chasing away or killing all the journalists still present in the north, Israel moved from massacring civilians through bombings to summary executions.
These war crimes are accompanied by open advocacy of genocide by Israeli officials, not only through veiled biblical references, such as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's invocation of "Amalek", but also through direct calls to copy the Nazi genocide of the Jews.
In a radio interview on Sunday, David Azoulai, head of Israel's Metula Regional Council, said Gaza should resemble " Auschwitz ." He said: “ Tell all people in Gaza to go to the beaches. Navy ships are expected to charge the terrorists on the shores of Lebanon. The entire Gaza Strip should be emptied and leveled, like Auschwitz .”
In a television interview, Miri Golan, Israel's Minister for the Advancement of Women, said: " I don't care about Gaza... for all I know, they can go out and swim in the sea ." She added: “ I want to see the bodies of terrorists in Gaza .”
Daniella Weiss, former mayor of an Israeli settlement in the West Bank and leader of the Israeli settler movement, said in a television interview that Israel's goal was to " liberate Gaza from the Arabs " in order to prepare for " the establishment of Jewish settlements throughout the Gaza Strip .
No one can say that the true goals of the apartheid state in Gaza were not known!
In an article published Wednesday 27 in Haaretz, Gideon Levi writes: “  Every Sunday and every Tuesday, Israeli guards enter the cells of Palestinian prisoners, hinder them and beat them with batons.
It's their weekly party, according to released prisoners. Four prisoners have died since the start of the war on October 7, almost certainly from the blows. Nineteen guards who participated in these deranged sessions are under investigation, suspected of having caused the death of a prisoner.
Hundreds of Palestinians detained in the Gaza Strip were tied up and blindfolded 24 hours a day, and were also brutally beaten. Some, perhaps even most, have no connection to Hamas. Some of them – no one bothered to indicate how many – died in captivity at the Sde Teiman base.
Some 4,000 Gazan workers arrested in Israel on October 7 even though they had done nothing wrong are also being held in inhumane conditions. At least two of them are dead. And much has already been written about the undressing of detainees and humiliating photos.  »
Again, no one can say they didn't know!
International Solidarity to help the Palestinians
Many people around the world, as well as governments, are increasingly revolted against the situation experienced by Palestinians in Gaza who are victims of genocide and those in the West Bank who are victims of ethnic cleansing.
Suddenly, the question: “How to stop the massacre?” » becomes more and more burning.
Only the international solidarity of workers and peoples can move the imperialist leaders to stop Israel. Without US weapons and especially ammunition, Israel only has two days of autonomy, the war could end very quickly.
We have repeatedly mentioned the numerous demonstrations all over the world, initiatives to block ports, including recently in Finland, continue. The movement does not weaken.
In France, initiatives to boycott brands that support Israel have taken place, particularly targeting Carrefour which sends packages to occupying soldiers. Demonstrations or gatherings take place regularly.
We must take advantage of the fact that, throughout the world, Israel's legitimacy is increasingly rejected.
Claire Daly, Irish MEP, member of Sinn Fein, once again criticized, Monday December 25, Ursula von der Leyen for her position on the Israeli massacre in Gaza. After accusing her of overstepping foreign policy to  "encourage a brutal apartheid regime", she declared in part: "  Well, my God, with defenders of democracy like these, I think I speak on behalf of many, many European citizens when I say 'Nein Danke, Frau Genocide!' No, thank you, Madame Génocide.”
We can also note India's turnaround. Just a few weeks ago, Israel's ambassador in Delhi enthusiastically described India's position as " 100% support " for his country. But this is no longer the case today. On December 13, India voted in favor of a UN General Assembly resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. This is the first time that India has supported such a resolution since the war broke out more than two months ago. And Indian unions succeeded in scuttling the idea of Indian workers being sent to occupied Palestine to replace Palestinian workers.
In short, there is undoubtedly a growing movement of anger against the colonial war of the Zionist state and for solidarity with the Palestinian people. It is on this path that we must continue by translating this disapproval into acts of struggle.
For the Communist Revolutionary Party, it is always a question of these struggles, in a climate of growing isolation from the apartheid state, putting sufficient pressure on the imperialists, first and foremost the USA, and serving as indirect economic sanctions on Israel (the boycott or the action of the Yemenis in the Red Sea), in such a way that the Zionists, not out of philanthropy, but out of obligation, stop the massacre.
This would make it possible to obtain the Ceasefire that we, along with many others, have been demanding for a long time. We also recall that lasting peace can only exist if the rights of the Palestinians are respected: the right to return of all refugees since 1948, a state without apartheid for the Palestinians, the same state for all the inhabitants of Palestine. For this, our fight here is to boycott the Zionist state as much as possible and to get France to break its diplomatic relations with the Israeli fascists.
