“Gaza will never carry the white flag of capitulation… Neither the Zionists nor any criminal force will ever succeed in breaking the will of the Resistance in Gaza ” (Georges Abdallah).
Georges Abdallah himself has always refused to make this white flag his own by choosing never to leave the camp which has been and remains his: that of the “ historical Resistance ”, of the entire Resistance, of the “ promise of the Fedayins .”
It is for this unwavering support for the heroic struggle of the Palestinian people but also of all peoples who resisted oppression and for their emancipation that Georges Abdallah still remains in detention today.
It is for this unwavering support, this refusal to deny himself and this determination to remain standing that Georges Abdallah still remains in the hands of the enemy - for this symbol of resistance that he remains in Lebanon but also for this example that he has always been and remains even more so today for all of its supporters in France and internationally.
Just as we did masterfully during the 14th Lannemezan demonstration on April 6 in support of our comrade and the prisoners incarcerated with him, we, supporting Georges Abdallah, are committed once again to coordinating the all of our forces in support of the heroic resistance of the Palestinian people and our comrade during the next international week of actions from June 8 to 15 and to mobilize massively for the new national demonstration organized on June 15 in Lyon in order to support the 10th request for conditional release of Georges Abdallah and demand his release.
In this context:
- We are calling for an upcoming gathering in Paris, at the Ménilmontant metro station , on Friday June 7 at 6 p.m. in order to continue to resonate our unfailing determination to see Georges Abdallah finally released.
- We are organizing a bus from Paris to go together to Lyon: departure on June 15 in the early morning from Paris for a return in the evening.
