Bulletin N°57 mai 2025 The situation in Gaza remains the same: a bombed and starving population. Colonialist bulldozers are destroying the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza. The occupying army, probably fearful of the ground engagement against the Resistance, which we still don't see coming, has recruited mercenaries from the Abu Shabab gang, a notorious drug trafficker, once wanted by the Gaza police but protected by the Zionists, or even from the ISIS movement, Islamist fascists from various countries, like those who have taken power over a third of Syria. These mercenaries plunder UN convoys, but are getting quite a few hits from the Resistance. Furthermore, mercenaries or the occupying army - you can never be better served than by yourself - are luring the inhabitants of Gaza under the pretext of food supplies and taking advantage of the situation to kill dozens, even hundreds. We are crossing mountains in the ignoble!
The Zionist entity is massacring and trying to eradicate the population of Gaza, in the shameless silence of Western and Arab governments and the media in Western countries, especially in France. We have already spoken about the distancing from Netanyahu of many left-wing Zionists, who have little choice and try to play the part of abandoning Netanyahu against the defense of the Zionist entity. Despite these reactions, or perhaps because of them, the media , both state-owned and owned by big capitalists, do not change their tune. Such a newspaper mentions Gazans killed, without saying by whom. Such a TV invites an expert from the Zionist camp who tells us that the occupation army is kind, that it is taking every precaution, and above all, at the moment when it becomes lawful to use this word, that there is no genocide. Even though this fight is lost, everyone realizes and knows what is happening, and they continue to fight it nonetheless.
The latest example is the relentless attack on the Freedom Flotilla, which was boarded Monday morning in international waters. We saw an expert justify the boarding: the Madleen wanted to "illegally" break the blockade of Gaza. This kind of statement has the merit of being clear. "International law," the respect of which is the hobbyhorse of all the "left" defenders, to varying degrees, of the Palestinian cause, from the PCF to LFI, including ecologists and members of the Socialist Party, is a decoy, a total chimera, which not only the Zionists, but also all the proxies of the US or EU imperialists couldn't care less about.
Continuing to adorn oneself with it, like a toga, has only one result: to maintain the illusion about the values that would have been, from all eternity, those of the bourgeois State of France, which would today be threatened. This is not the case! There is no universal value in capitalist society, in the imperialist world, nor any mythical entity that bourgeois democracies should respect, called "law." All this is illusory and above all false. The values of imperialist France are the absolute defense of profit, of private ownership of the means of production and exchange and of the exploitation of Man by Man. There is therefore no change, no rupture, international law is Western imperialist law.
Let's return to the Freedom Flotilla. It's an initiative that has existed for 15 years. The first time, it was met with gunfire from the occupying army, which killed seven people. These were indeed attempts to break the blockade, and there were many. The last one stopped in Malta, shattered by Zionist drone strikes that seriously damaged the boat. The tactic adopted at the time, of media silence, was changed. It was a matter of talking loudly about the initiative, of making it visible, in order to prevent the boat from being sunk anywhere in the Mediterranean. It can also be said that the official media in France fell for it. They poured out unhealthy criticism and insults against the flotilla and in particular against the leading figures, Rima Hassan and Greta Thunberg, and so, they talked about it. Getting people talking about the initiative, even negatively, was indeed the goal.
Certainly, one can legitimately think that the flotilla was used, instrumentalized by a political organization, LFI to name it. We may have trouble with political recovery and the use of grand spectacle, but there comes a time when these small subjective disgusts do not weigh in the face of objective abjection. When just causes are carried by people who can also horrify us, PR makers and politicians using an opportunistic spectacle to win votes, it is necessary to ask two closely related questions: what is more important, the cause itself or these people? And, despite everything, does this initiative advance the cause?
The answer is easy. For the Revolutionary Communist Party, the politicians' goals are irrelevant; what matters is the defense of Palestine and its Resistance. And the boarding, which surprised no one, reveals the truth about the Zionist entity for the umpteenth time. Even worse, the leaders of the colonial state demanded, as a prerequisite for expulsion, that the 12 members of the ship's crew sign a document in which they must acknowledge having entered the territory of the Zionist entity illegally. They quite legitimately refused and were therefore taken to the infamous Givon prison, before four of them were expelled to France; five French citizens refused to sign the Israeli form related to their expulsion and remain in prison.
Anything that reveals the truth about the Zionist colonial state advances the cause of Palestinian liberation. It doesn't matter if LFI uses it to organize its own promotion. Despite their half-hearted stance on the Zionist colonial state, they helped organize nearly 200 rallies in France on Monday, June 9, with more people than ever before. So, yes, this advances international solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Another initiative, much larger in scale, carrying much more force and perspective, must hold our attention now: the march to Rafah, which began on June 8 in Algeria, then on the 9th in Tunisia. Thousands of people from these two countries will cross Libya, then go to Cairo where they will be joined by many others from different countries, notably France. Then, they will march in procession from Cairo to the Gaza border crossing, in order to break the blockade and finally bring in food and medical supplies for the Gazans.
Algeria is one of the few countries, along with Cuba, to have never had diplomatic relations with the Zionist entity. Tunisia welcomed the Palestinian Fedayeen in 1982, driven out of Lebanon by Israel and Western imperialists. The people and workers of the Maghreb are particularly sensitive to the Palestinian question. Moroccans, whose state and king are close friends of the Zionists, are not the last. Recently, students expelled from their university former Prime Minister Saâdedine El Othmani, of the Justice and Development Party (a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood), who had signed the normalization agreement with the Zionist entity in December 2020.
Diplomats and parliamentarians from both countries are present. The goal is also to shake up the Arab people, particularly the Egyptians, in order to get their leaders to act, as they remain so indifferent to the genocide.
Day after day, we can see that international solidarity is growing, as witnessed by the 400,000 demonstrators in London on June 7, or the dockers in Marseille, Genoa and Piraeus who are blocking arms shipments.
For this international mobilization to be even stronger, we need, more than ever, a clear, anti-colonialist, anti-Zionist discourse, denouncing the actors, the accomplices of the substitute colonization implemented in Palestine, the accomplices of the genocide of the Zionist entity which increasingly resembles that of the American West, perpetrated there also by European settlers!!! We need a clear position, total support for the Palestinian people, for their resistance, in all its forms, from everyday gestures to armed combat. It is not possible to support the struggle for a free Palestine without supporting the armed Resistance, in all its components and in all its actions; without demanding the end of the colonial apartheid state, because its existence prevents true peace.
And more than ever, we need the active solidarity of peoples and workers around the world with the resistance of the Palestinian people, in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem. It is high time that a large-scale popular demonstration be organized throughout France to support the national liberation struggle of the Palestinian people and to proclaim that enough crimes are enough, that the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people must be recognized.
Such a demonstration must carry the demand for a just peace in Palestine. A just peace means the dismantling of settlements, the return of refugees, and a state where all residents enjoy equal rights and can live together, regardless of their origins—in this case, a democratic and independent Palestinian state.
The Revolutionary Communist Party supports more than ever the fundamental demands of the Palestinian national liberation movement: a complete end to Zionist military aggression, the right of return for refugees, and the formation of a Palestinian state on the territory of Mandatory Palestine.
The Zionist colonial state will fall. We cannot say when, but it will fall. This is the meaning of history.
