Bulletin N°57 mai 2025 In a letter sent on June 1 , URC 1 proposes a " national demonstration in Paris for peace, against imperialist wars on November 11. " The subject is too serious for us not to give it the attention it deserves.
The analysis of the question of imperialism is central. Regarding the state of development of capitalism on a global scale and its contradictions, the answer given to this question determines the direction of the class struggle on a national and international scale and consequently the strategy and tactics of struggle of any revolutionary vanguard party whose objective is to overthrow capitalism and build a socialist society free from the exploitation of man by man.
The Revolutionary Communist Party devotes an important place to the question of imperialism and has translated it into structuring initiatives, whether during its national office of February 13, 2016 devoted to this question 2 , or its national initiative of March 23, 2024 on this subject 3 . It is from this analysis that we carry out our action whether against the imperialist war on the territory of Ukraine, in support of the national liberation struggle of the Palestinian people and in general that we organize our internationalist activity.
The Revolutionary Communist Party attaches great importance to initiatives that can contribute, through joint action, to advances in the balance of power by raising the level of class consciousness. It is on this basis that we participate in the united campaign for the release of Georges Abdallah. We clearly formulated our concept of communist unity of action in Declaration 4 of November 10, 2024: " advancing in the gathering of communists for revolutionary changes ."
On this basis, we welcome anything that can provide a clear expression of the struggle against imperialism and its wars, against capitalist austerity policies and repression. This requires clarification of the content of an initiative for peace and against war. In the immediate future, and we are ready for this, the urgent need is to quickly contribute to a major demonstration of support for the national liberation struggle of the Palestinian people against Zionist colonial aggression and the ongoing genocide.
